Historic Lake Oswego – POSTPONED!
September 7, 2019, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
This urban walk starts in the heart of downtown Lake Oswego and continues through the oldest neighborhood in town and down to the site of the historic 1866 iron smelter. This industrial landmark is the only surviving stone smelter furnace in the West, and was restored through a broad-based community effort in 2010.
This narrated walking tour features a number of buildings that define the “old” and “new” Lake Oswego.
This is a brisk walk of about 2 miles with several moderate to steep inclines on the route.
Fee for this tour is $15. You may pay by check, cash or credit card at the start of the tour. You may also use PayPal by following this link: http://bit.ly/22q0waD
